Art is important: There is no disputing that it can exist for its own sake and many artists have proven this over the years.
For those of us who believe that art should be available to the widest proportion of society; a firm understanding of how to identify who to target for a particular project, how to attract new audiences for existing offerings, and how to communicate in a variety of different ways to those people, is a valuable part of the arts jigsaw.
I believe passionately that nobody should feel excluded from any creative activity. I offer:
